User Agreement

About this agreement

This User Agreement applies to Snake Words, a mobile word puzzle game provided by Yehor Ivanov, published as Yehor Ivanov on the App Store and Grib Games on Google Play (“we”, “us”, or the “Developer”).

Please read these terms before using the Game. By using it, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the Game. If you cannot enter into a binding agreement because of your age, a parent or legal guardian must review these terms and authorize your use where required.

Our Privacy Policy explains data processing. Acceptance of this Agreement does not replace any separate consent required for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Use of the Game and intellectual property

You may use the Game for personal entertainment on supported devices, subject to the applicable app-store license and usage rules. The Game's code, artwork, sounds, branding, and other protected content belong to the Developer or their respective licensors. No ownership of those materials is transferred to you.

You may not redistribute the Game, sell access to it, or copy or modify its protected materials without permission, except where applicable law or an applicable third-party license permits it. You may share your own gameplay screenshots and videos, provided you do not misrepresent them as official Developer materials or infringe other people's rights.

Fair use

Use the Game lawfully. Do not interfere with its services or other users, exploit security vulnerabilities, manipulate online scores or rewards through unauthorized tools, or attempt to access data or systems without permission.

Restrictions on reverse engineering or modification apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and relevant component licenses. Report technical issues or suspected security problems to support.

Gameplay, progress, and cloud saves

Snake Words involves guiding a snake to collect letters and complete words. Available themes, levels, mechanics, and rewards may change as the Game develops.

Progress and settings may be stored locally. Supported Apple versions may also use Game Center authentication and iCloud synchronization. Game Center sign-in and iCloud saving are separate features; a Game Center welcome message does not guarantee that progress has been backed up.

Cloud synchronization depends on the relevant account, compatible versions, network access, and service availability. Device changes, deletion of app data, conflicting saves, or service interruptions can affect progress. We will provide reasonable support, but cannot promise recovery of every lost save. This does not limit any remedy required by law.

Rewarded advertisements

Where offered, you may choose to watch a rewarded advertisement to continue or restart a level with the benefit described on the relevant screen, such as preserving collected letters. The reward and conditions will be shown before you choose.

Advertising availability depends on network access, the provider, and the installed version. An advertisement that is unavailable or not recorded as completed may not produce a reward. Contact support if a completed advertisement fails to grant the stated benefit.

Ad content is supplied by third parties. Any required privacy consent or device tracking permission is separate from choosing to watch an ad. The Privacy Policy must identify the selected providers before an advertising-enabled release.

Paid features, if offered

If a version offers paid content or purchases, its price and material conditions will be shown before payment. Purchases are processed through the relevant store and are subject to its payment and refund procedures and applicable consumer law.

In-game benefits have no real-world cash value and are not transferable unless the Game or applicable law expressly allows it. This paragraph does not create a purchase, subscription, or entitlement that is not actually offered by the version you use.

Third-party services and connectivity

The Game may rely on supported services described in the Privacy Policy, including Unity Analytics, Apple Game Center, iCloud, and the distribution store. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for complying with the terms that apply to your use of them.

Features that rely on online services require connectivity and may be unavailable during an outage. Your network provider may charge for mobile data or roaming.

Updates, changes, and availability

We may update the Game to fix errors, improve features, or meet platform requirements. Some versions or devices may cease to be supported. If a material change affects paid entitlements or your contractual rights, we will provide notice and any remedies required by law.

We may discontinue an online feature or the Game, subject to applicable notice, refund, and consumer protection obligations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or the absence of every error.

Warranties and responsibility

The Game is supplied with reasonable care, subject to the protections required by applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee a particular level of performance, uninterrupted service, or recovery of every saved game.

We are not responsible for losses resulting solely from misuse, unauthorized modifications, or external outages beyond our control, except where applicable law makes us responsible. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

Ending use and enforcement

You can stop using the Game at any time and uninstall it. Removing the Game does not necessarily remove cloud saves or data already processed by providers; consult the Privacy Policy for deletion options.

Where an online service is available, we may restrict its use for a material breach of these terms or a security threat, using proportionate measures and providing notice or an opportunity to remedy where required. Any separate store license also governs termination of the software license.

App Store license

For a copy obtained through the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies to the software license unless a valid custom EULA is supplied through the App Store. This webpage is additional game-use terms and is not submitted as a replacement custom App Store EULA.

If these terms conflict with the applicable store license, the store license controls the software licensing issue. Contact the Developer for support about Snake Words; platform-account issues are handled by the relevant platform.

Applicable law and disputes

Applicable mandatory law, including consumer protections where you live, remains in force. Any dispute may be brought before the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law. These terms do not require you to give up mandatory rights or access to a competent court.

Please contact us first if you encounter a problem so we have an opportunity to help. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms and contact

We may revise these terms and update the date on this page. Material changes will be notified where required, and will not remove accrued rights or mandatory remedies. If you do not agree to revised terms, you may stop using the Game, without losing rights you already have under applicable law.
