This Privacy Policy explains how Mushroomy, an iOS application provided by Yehor Ivanov ("Mushroomy", "we", "us", or "the Service Provider"), handles information when you use the application.

1. Summary

Mushroomy is designed to work without creating a user account. The app does not require you to provide your name, postal address, or payment-card details to the developer. Mushroomy uses only the information reasonably necessary to provide features you choose to use, such as location-based forecasts, reminders, local preferences, photo-calendar content, and App Store subscription status.

2. Information the app may access

• Location: if you grant permission, Mushroomy may access your device location to request local foraging/weather information and to schedule location-relevant reminders.
• Photos you select: when you choose images for the Photo Calendar, the app accesses only the items you explicitly select through Apple's photo picker.
• App preferences: settings such as selected language, measurement units, notification preferences, favorites, and PRO entitlement state may be stored on your device.
• Purchase information: subscriptions are processed by Apple. The app may receive StoreKit transaction and entitlement information needed to determine whether PRO access is active. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
• Technical requests: when the app requests weather or forecast data, information needed to return that request, such as coordinates and standard network metadata, may be processed by the service that supplies the forecast.

3. How location is used

Location permission is optional. If granted, location is used to provide location-dependent features, including local forecast calculations and foraging reminders. Mushroomy does not use location for targeted advertising. You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings. Some location-based features may stop working if permission is disabled.

4. Photos and Photo Calendar content

Mushroomy is designed to keep Photo Calendar content under the user's control on the device. The developer does not intentionally upload the contents of photos you select to a developer-operated photo server. Deleting app data or uninstalling the app may remove locally stored app content, depending on iOS behavior and the app's storage configuration.

5. Notifications

If you enable reminders, Mushroomy may request notification permission and schedule notifications related to foraging conditions or calendar activity. Notification permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

6. Subscriptions and Apple services

Mushroomy offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Apple processes purchases and billing under Apple's own terms and privacy practices. Mushroomy receives only the transaction and entitlement information necessary to provide purchased features and restore purchases.

7. Third-party services

Certain features may depend on Apple services and a weather/forecast data service. Those providers may process technical information required to fulfill a request under their own privacy terms. Mushroomy does not sell your personal information and, at the effective date of this policy, does not use third-party advertising SDKs for targeted advertising.

8. Data retention

App preferences and Photo Calendar content stored locally remain on the device until you remove them, reset the relevant app data, or uninstall the app, subject to iOS storage behavior. Subscription records are retained by Apple according to Apple's policies. The developer retains personal information received directly by email only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain appropriate records, or comply with law.

9. Your choices and controls

• Location permission can be changed in iOS Settings.
• Notification permission can be changed in iOS Settings.
• Selected Photo Calendar items can be deleted within the app where the feature provides deletion controls.
• Subscriptions can be managed through your Apple Account / App Store subscription settings.
• You may contact us to ask a privacy question or request deletion of personal information that you have directly provided to us and that we still retain.

10. Children

Mushroomy is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has directly provided personal information to the developer, contact us so the matter can be reviewed and, where appropriate, the information can be deleted.

11. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the limited information we handle. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. International use

Mushroomy may be used in different countries. Apple and other service providers used to deliver app functionality may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their policies and applicable law.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Mushroomy changes, when new services are introduced, or when legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
